Hall of Fame Dearborn, Michigan The
Automotive Hall of Fame was established in response to the growing public
interest in the automotive industry and features exhibits celebrating individuals
who have contributed significantly to the growth of the industry. Through
the use of photo displays, models and interactive exhibits, the Automotive
Hall of Fame showcases early operating models, mechanical and material
improvements, safety developments, and marketing innovations that have
driven the automotive industry from its infancy. One noteworthy exhibit
is a comprehensive time line that covers the milestones of progress that
contributed to the growth of the industry from the earliest experimental
prototypes to the concept cars of "tomorrow". The
Automotive Hall of Fame operates seven days a week, including activities
in the evening hours. Aside from its primary event, the annual induction
ceremony, it hosts lectures, conferences and social events, as well as
a changing schedule of programs. The Automotive Hall of Fame also
maintains their own website.
