As part of a long-range comprehensive campus materplan, Hobbs + Black has partnered with Perkins and Will in the design of the new Technology Learning Center for Lansing Community College.  This new building provides space for consolidated campus Library Facilities, Media  Services (TV studios, audio / video production labs, tele-conferencing rooms) and Computer Services (networked student and faculty computer labs and mainframe support spaces).  Additionally, space was provided for a Center for Teaching Excellence.

State-of-the-art collaborative technologies were integrated  in "technology-enriched" academic and corporate training classrooms thus extending the  technology to the teaching-learning environment to help meet the education and training needs of the business community.

Hobbs + Black Architects also coordinated and implemented the landscape design, interior furnishings selection process, and a campus-wide wayfinding and signage masterplan.  Each task requiring close collaboration with administrative, departmental, and student representatives.
