WCC WCC Morris J. Lawrence Building

The conceptual design of the Morris J. Lawrence public spaces aimed to create a space that embodies a vibrant and timeless expression that coordinates seamlessly with the existing finishes. The renovation includes replacing the flooring, paint, wall coverings, automatic sliding doors, reception desk, lighting, and the skylight Kalwall system.

Warm wood finishes surround the multipurpose room and the Towsley Auditorium entrances in contrast to the dynamic angled flooring pattern. A mix of more contemporary cool finishes and updated classic design elements coordinate with the traditional existing finishes throughout the building.

The design included adding electronic signage and directories throughout the building, upgrading the furniture, and reconfiguring the operable walls in the multipurpose seminar rooms.
